I run the schedule
Build the week, answer requests, run task lists, message the team and export hours. Pick the screen you are stuck on in the list, or start from a question below.
Start from the question you would type
Every guide answers a handful of these. They jump straight to the step, not the top of a page.
- How do I add my people?Press Add user, tick the staff you want, and they drop in as rows on the schedule.
- My team can't see the shifts!Nothing is visible to staff until you publish, either one shift or the whole week at once.
- Where do staff requests end up?Under Request in the left menu. The badge on it is how many are still waiting for you.
- How do I see what actually changes?Open the request. The current shift sits on the left, the requested shift on the right, and the differences are listed between them.
- What happens if I deny a request? The shift stays exactly as it was and the request leaves the list. Nothing on the schedule moves.
- Can I approve requests from my phone?Yes. The Requests tab in the phone app has the same Approve and Deny on every card.
- How do I tell everyone something?Open Chat and write in All. Every person in the project is already in that channel.
- How do I start a group for just the kitchen?Press the new chat button above the list, name it, and pick who is in it. It appears for them straight away.
- Do people need a separate messaging app?No. Chat is in the same app as the schedule, on the phone and on a computer.
- How do I make an opening checklist?Open Tasks, press the add button, name the list, then type each job into Add a task.
- Can I see how far through it they are?Yes. Every list shows a progress bar and a done-out-of-total count, on the list itself and in the sidebar.
- How do I reuse the same list tomorrow?Use the reset button on the list. Everything goes back to unticked and the list stays as it was.
- Can staff tick things off on their phone?Yes. The Tasks tab in the phone app shows their lists, and a tap ticks a line.
- How do I get last month's hours?Open Reports, set the date range to that month, and read Total Actual Hours for each person.
- How do I get it into a spreadsheet?Press Download and choose Export to Excel. Export to pdf prints the same page.
- Does it split overtime out for me?Yes. The payroll CSV puts regular, overtime and absence hours in their own columns, following the overtime rule you pick.
- Can I export just one person?Yes. The export dialog lets you choose the selected staff member only, or all staff in one file.
By screen
Every guide on this side, under the screen of the app it is about.
Schedule

Requests
Time off, sick days, shift swaps and time deviations: how a request is made from the shift, and what happens to the schedule once it is answered.
Tasks
Checklists that go out with the shift, so whoever is on duty knows what to do and you can see it was done.
Chat
Message one person, a group or the whole team, and attach the shift you are talking about so nobody asks which one.
Reports
Hours per person, what a week actually cost, and a payroll export you can hand straight to whoever does the wages.
