I work the shifts
See your week, ask for time off, report sick and tell your manager when you can work. Pick the screen you are stuck on in the list, or start from a question below.
Start from the question you would type
Every guide answers a handful of these. They jump straight to the step, not the top of a page.
- How do I get a day off that I am scheduled to work?Open your schedule, click the shift, pick Ask for a change, then Cancel shift. Add one line about why and send it.
- How do I call in sick?Click the shift you cannot work and pick Report sick. Your manager gets it the moment you send it.
- Can I take back a request I already sent?Yes, while your manager has not answered it. Open it under Requests and press cancel.
- I stayed longer than my shift says. Where do I report that?On the shift itself: pick Report time deviation and set the hours you really worked.
- How do I say I cannot work a day?Open your week, click the date on the left of that day, and choose Unavailable. Add a line about why if it helps.
- What is the difference between Available and Want to work?Available means you can if you are needed. Want to work is you asking for hours, which is what your manager looks for when filling a gap.
- Does setting availability book my holiday? No. It is a preference your manager approves, not an automatic day off, and they see it next to everyone else's.
- Can I change it later?Yes, any time. Open the day again and pick something else, and the new answer replaces the old one.
By screen
Every guide on this side, under the screen of the app it is about.
Requests
Time off, sick days, shift swaps and time deviations: how a request is made from the shift, and what happens to the schedule once it is answered.
Availability
Say ahead of time which days you can and cannot work, want to work or are away, so the next schedule is built around real answers.
